Success for Agro Sevilla in the most innovative edition of Anuga
The 35th edition of Anuga, the biggest agro-alimentary trade fair held every two years in Cologne (Germany), took place between the 5th and the 9th of October. Agro Sevilla participated in Anuga 2019 as an exhibitor company, with a stand of its own located in the Spanish pavillion. The assessment after the five-day event couldn’t have been more positive, from a commercial point of view and product visibility.
An immersive journey from Cologne to Andalusia
In the spirit of Anuga 2019 and its slogan “Taste the future”, Agro Sevilla added to its participation the extra innovation required by the event. In addition to the advances in the research, development and innovation of Agro Sevilla’s agro-alimentary products, the stand included an activity that really drew the attention of the people that visited it.
Via a 360º experience with Virtual Reality glasses, visitors were able to immerse themselves in our olive groves during the olive harvest and follow the whole process from the Cooperatives to our production plant. An immersive journey with which Agro Sevilla brought our land and olive culture to the heart of Anuga.
Aside from the success of this innovative activity, numerous meetings and professional encounters were held during the exhibition. Many of our principal clients came to the Agro Sevilla stand from markets as diverse as Ukraine, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Australia and Saudi Arabia, among other countries.
Another of the highlights for Agro Sevilla in Anuga was the participation in the Anuga Halal Market. Agro Sevilla presented its products with Halal certification, geared towards a market that represents a quarter of the global population. More importantly, the Halal Certificate not only includes the religious aspect, but also constitutes a global standard for hygiene, quality and production. As a result, halal products are becoming more important in other international markets.
Once again, Anuga has provided an excellent forum for Agro Sevilla to confirm its international leadership in table olives and consolidate the excellent image that this emblematic product of Andalusia has in the world.
