This recognition, granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, highlights the cooperative’s commitment to quality, sustainability and innovation in the agri-food sector. The award ceremony, presided over by Minister Luis Planas, was held yesterday evening at Madrid’s Royal Theatre.  Ernesto Abati García-Manso, Undersecretary of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, presented the award to Julio Roda, Director-General of Agrosevilla.

“Representing the best of the Spanish food industry is a great responsibility, and we are committed to maintaining the high standards this award represents. This is a recognition of the effort and dedication of our farmers, cooperatives and workers at every stage of the value chain. Without a doubt, it motivates us to continue leading the global table olive sector, reaffirming our commitment to quality, food safety, and sustainable practices. This award inspires us to keep developing products that meet consumer needs while generating a positive impact on our communities and the environment.” Julio Roda, Director-General of Agrosevilla.

For his part, Gabriel Cabello, President of Agrosevilla, emphasised: “We are deeply grateful for this award, which reflects the dedication and effort of our more than 4,000 member farmers and 400 employees. This prize recognises our daily work as a cooperative and our commitment to quality, innovation and the sustainability of our business model. Without the support and collaboration of all those involved, this achievement would not have been possible.”

Agrosevilla has been distinguished for its nearly 50 years of history, during which it has become a benchmark in the production and export of table olives.
